After being taught by Donald Weilerstein at the New England Conservatory, Kenneth Renshaw is now a student at the Juilliard School in New York under Itzhak Perlman and Lin Li. He won the Los Angeles Philharmonic Competition in 2009; the following year, he won the International Louis Spohr Competition, at which he also received the prize for the best performance of a Mozart concerto. In 2012, he was awarded First Prize at the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition. He has already performed with many orchestras, including the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the China Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ushuaia Festival Orchestra, and the California Symphony. A member of the Soleil piano trio from 2008 to 2010, he has also worked with artists such as Leon Fleisher, Shmuel Ashkenasi, Matt Heimovitz, and James Galway. He has performed at a number of festivals, including the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Kronberg Academy.
