Julian Rhee
studied under Hye-Sun Lee and Almita Vamos at the Music Institute of Chicago Academy. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the class of Miriam Fried at the New England Conservatory. After making his debut with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra at the age of 7, he went on to pursue a solo career with orchestras such as the Indianapolis Symphony, the Santa Rosa Symphony, the Pittsburgh Symphony, the East Coast Chamber Orchestra, the Aspen Philharmonic, the Eugene Symphony, the Madison Symphony and the San Diego Symphony. An avid chamber musician, Julian Rhee has performed at festivals such as the Ravinia Steans Institute, the Marlboro Festival, Rockport Music and the North Shore Chamber Music Festival. He was the silver medallist at the International Competition of Indianapolis in 2022 and won the First Prize at the Elmar Oliveira Competition in 2020.
