15/02/2023 For the next series of youth concerts in March 2023, we will invite two cellists that will certainly appeal to our young audience: Bryan Cheng and Petar Pejčić will set the stage alight during four free performances in Brussels, Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve.
Both a laureate of the recent Cello Competition,
Bryan Cheng and
Petar Pejčić will be accompanied on the piano by Bryan's sister, Silvie Cheng. They will perform works by Astor Piazzolla, Sergey Prokofiev, Jacques Offenbach, Paul Wiancko & Béla Bartók (approximately 1 hour of music).
At these annual concerts, free for under26s, the laureates share their passion with young people and explain the repertoire they present. These concerts are some of the youngsters' first contact with the world of classical music.
