H.M. Queen Mathilde, the de Launoit family and the different levels of public authority in the country of Belgium award the prizes to the first six laureates of each Competition. The prizes of the six unranked laureates are sponsored by the Belgian National Lottery.

The ranking of the laureates of the 2021 Piano Competition will be announced on the last evening of the final, on Saturday 29th May 2021.
